I remember seeing one of the originals on display in the window of a bike shop in St. Albans many many years ago and how I ached to buy it but never had the money. What a beautiful bike with that velvety Velocette sound given enough distance from the tappet noise. Thanks for showing this.

I had a Venom back in the late sixties. Will always remember the first day I had it I stalled it and in my haste to restart it I forgot to retard the ignition!!! It doesn't half hurt when the kickback slams your shin into the bars!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
