Thank you for rescuing these classic toys. I had Tonka trucks as a kid. Those things were built to last. Toys are junk today.

These videos should be shown in schools and colleges to help inspire younger people in what can be achieved with tool skills. Instead, they all seem to be directed into management, to have meetings, drink latte and all without actually doing anything. I can't match this level of skill but I am so glad I can appreciate it. Thank you so much Chip Channel.

I only discovered this channel 1 or 2 days ago and I love it. It isn't just restoration, the modern techniques like media blasting and powder coating mean that the restored toy is better than when it was new

@rosemaryvardanega46744 жыл бұрын
There is four things I love about your restoration, 1. The sheep in the junkyard 2. The use of the sandblasting to remove the old paint 3. The use of powder paint, instead of tin spray paint 4. The way that you can make something that is old and rusted look like new, or how it looked like it was just rolled of the toy factory floor back int the day.

Your restoration videos are so relaxing to watch. Not like other channels. Dont get me wrong some of them can pull one hell of a restoration. But alot of them dump oxidizing liquids and what not on whatever they are restoring before the video to make it worse then it was. Dont get me wrong some of them have talent. But this tops the charts. Real restoration. Restoring old toys. The wear and tear and rust are real. Not made worse on purpose prior to the video. You channel has real personality and character. Keep up the good work.

Tonka had started the 1961 trucks when they had to stop the sales of the sanitary trucks, The 1961 truck is rare and. It has white wall tires, but is the same as 1960 model.
