Tonka Utility Dump Truck Tractor Restoration

I purchased this 1960's Tonka Utility Dump Truck Tractor off eBay in early 2021. Outside of the steering wheel being broken and the engine missing, It was in great shape. It had some awesome rust spots and paint peeling. Overall I was extremely happy with how the restoration process went.

I have noticed that when you sandblast, you remove more of the rust and discoloration of the metal than almost everyone else! Your finishing work is also excellent. I consider you the best metal truck restorer on KZbin

I’ve been binge watching your exquisite restorations. My wife has even been watching with me. Have ever or considered restoring a pedal car from the 50’s or 60’s? As a young boy in the 50’s I would ride my car for hours. My father had to change the wheels because I wore the solid rubber tires out . Thank you for sharing your videos.

When I think of how many all metal toy cars and trucks my older brothers and I wore out in the 40s through the 60s it breaks my heart. Five boys, born in the 1930s, 1940s ans me in 1955 had a gold mine. Sadly, you were not born.then. I thoroughly enjoy watching you do your magic on many Tonka and BuddyL toys.
