Took mine to Rome and back in 1972, two up with camping gear etc. Didn’t miss a beat went over the Alps there and back clutch overheated a couple of times but recovered ok.

I had several of these bikes in 1960 costs were around £20 or free nice little bikes

Lovely bike, with looks totally spoilt with Indicators and all the excess baggage. Thank God they can all be removed. There's no way either, that I would of sold that, and left that registration number on it! (As long as it could be transferred)

Knowing Andy , it would not be transferable !.it's its ' birthright ' , part of its history and should not be adorning some non-descript new car , more would-be owners would be turned off buying it , as I would , if it bore an age-related number .A sad fact of the times, selling on for a few quid - a case of the price of everything and the value of nothing .

Judging by the comments, people are way too anal about things. I like my bikes standard but, it’s lovely!
