Nice to see the factory tach at 1:00 while officer was driving, I didn't notice a column shifter during interior clips, couldn't see enough of the car to see if it had a 4 in the floor setup. The 62 impala looked to be a super sport but couldn't make out the side emblems. Cool old video. Wish that's all the police needed to handle crime in 2025. Seems they have enough equipment nowadays to be a mini swat officer.

That 1964 Chevy Biscayne patrol car had a 409 engine as indicated by the fender emblem. Look for the flagged V emblem on the drivers side front fender, just above it are the numerals 409.

The L31 and L33 and L80, and they ranged anywhere from 380-425 horsepower! a 409 powerd car with the 340 horse motor ran a 0-60 in 6.6 seconds and a 15.2 in 1/4 mile! and topped out at 124 Mph.. Ironically the 400 Horsepower car ran a 15.3, thus bias ply tires/no traction

How is the officer being filmed? The angle which you see the officer driving and it appears the camera would be mounted on the hood of the car. How is that angle exactly being filmed?, cameras were much bigger and bulkier back then? No a days, you’ll see most people mounting Go-Pros on the dashboard or the hood of the car. However, how was it executed back then?
