Me and that grader were born the same year, lol! Just think how many of our country's Interstates and highways were graded with those exact same machines. Armstrong steering...you had to be tough to operate one and I don't qualify, haha. Gotta see what jpaydirt thinks about this old girl. Wish I looked and sounded that good at age 58.

@lewiemcneely91435 жыл бұрын
You have inherited ye olde knuckle buster. 2 outside levers are blade. They're good graders. I started with the 12's with pony motor start. The controls are jaw clutches and are either IN or not. You hit one a glancing lick and it'll beat you to death unless you stick your heel up there to stop it. Wished I was there. The plane tires will bounce at speed. It'll be 2nd probably for knockdown. Seems like the tranny is hi/lo and gears on the other stick. You'll build muscles with those controls. Not like the hydraulic 120 that was at the boulder hole but that'n will make a man out of you! You'll need Prayers, BLESSINGS and get the Goomers to Hug YOU up and take you in the house

a local farmer used aviation tires for his grain wagons. your tire guy is going to be cussing when he has to work wit them at all. If it is a purchase vice loan I bet regular tires go on it at least on e the rear drivers. The aviation tires will probably be great flotation tires for soft mud
