1962 Morris minor (George) oil change

Hi everyone finally got round to change the and filter on George. Just. Want to mention that the metal plate that go's in the bottom under the filter has been put in the wrong way round 🥴. I don't think it be a problem 🤔, Thanks for watching 🤓👍

Hi what is your other channel as I'm thinking is it H/D related. ?? Just for ref. We also bought a 1962 morris minor 2 door 948 last year and I have been working on it since the Wife and myself bought it last August. I did fit a temp gauge to the car I tried 3 different thermostats in it over a few weeks they opened at 82c and 88c but found that the one which opens at 74c runs a nice reading on the gauge of 80 to 85c. So pleased with that as ref my Vauxhall Astra shows it runs between 85 and 90c. Oh yea, I also changed my oil and filter last week.Fortunately, ours had a spin on filter which made things a little easer. Like your channel.

Great video as always. Just a heads up. The round metal plate that sits on top of the spring inside the oil filter housing for the oil filter to sit on - you fitted the round metal plate upside down. So the filter is under a bit to much tension / pressure. Probably be okay just thought I’d give you the heads up.
