just purchased. Play a Chicago Special CS Jazzmaster.... your vid pushed me to get this amp. Not even a C Stapleton fan but amp looks/sounds killer! Rock on over the Northwest!

Thanks for sharing - not a lot of regular showings of this amp due to the high cost! Enjoy it it - play it. Get some gear at Filson too!

Kevin Majka I’ll do some more demos soon. The thing breaks up so nicely and loud as hell for a 12 watt amp.

@@LoungingGuitars - Did the casino sell? Does it have a big neck?
@LoungingGuitars4 жыл бұрын
Kevin Majka it has a narrow nut much like late 60s Gibsons and Epiphone Casinos. It’s has body to it and is not thin.

That Filson cover is too sweet. I'm with you on that, and it's the icing on the cake for a sweet Princeton amp. Honestly I'm just not sure about the 12" speaker more than anything, but I need to try it out for myself. Thanks!
@LoungingGuitars3 жыл бұрын
Michael Shearer the 12” speaker gives a weak amp the beef it needs.

I bought the Tweed 15 watt Princeton reverb and damn it's a great amp! I haven't had to crank it but also don't need to. BTW the reverb is delish!!

looking forward to buy one of those bad boys! already have the origin effects revival trem, but the amp seems better.

@Frank Goodwell - Do you have an original 6G2 Princeton with a 10” speaker or a Chris Stapleton model? I play harp too and this amp has got me interested.

Love the Better Call Saul bit! Have you got a chance to run a fuzz through it? I'm a heavy fuzz user and I know some Fender amps sound fall to pieces when you run a hot fuzz face or something through them.

Great video man! I have the same amp. It’s the nicest amp I’ve ever owned. Crazy beautiful tones. You sound great on it! I still don’t know what the second Input is for though lol. Is it for humbuckers? Love that you played the theme from Better Call Saul, that sounded perfect on this amp 🙏. All the guitars sound amazing
@LoungingGuitars4 жыл бұрын
Lasse Suurmunne thanks man! This amp has been amazing! The second input is -3dB I think. Which is meant for humbuckers. I still go through channel one for humbuckers. You can hear the tone in context in my latest upload.

The stock speaker is very loud, 101 dB. For home playing you can downgrade the speaker to a Jensen P12R or C12R, barely 93 dB. And you can swap tubes to 12ay7 too, if you want to tame even more its loudness
