Fender '62 Princeton Amp, Chris Stapleton Edition - Review

At about 10:40 they reference a ground switch on the back. It is actually at dummy switch just for looks to make the amp period correct. I bought this amp and like it a lot, although I removed the tube cage to remove 1.2 pounds and make it look more like the original 62.

My favorite video on this amp, great video as always guys! Four knobs and the truth, and what a truth she speaks! What an amp! Great explanation(and most useful)and demo, didn’t know about the tremolo stepping out of the way like that, that’s super useful. Sweetest tremolo I’ve heard from any amp in my humble opinion 🙏. Love that rockabilly thing that starts happening when you hit those chords with the tremolo, that’s pretty sweet. I wonder since it has no reverb, if that actually makes it more pedal friendly. And so true, no bad tones from this amp. Makes it super easy. Damn I need this amp in my life 🎶 I’d have a beer 🍻 with that amp!

Tubes are 6V6 not 6L6.

I have had the regular reissue for 6 months, and I found my favorite tones after searching for the right amp for 20 years. If I buy another amp to have a 12” speaker, I will do this one. Beautiful sounding amp you got there! You guys are doing a great job too!

I'm gonna by a clone or have one made cause this is the deal! That tone is to die for without a zillion knobs and switches. Just add reverb and VOILA the best there is!
