1963 Buick Riviera Nichols Paint And Fab ScottieDTV You Can't Cancel Cool Road Tour 2020

In this video from the ScottieDTV You Can't Cancel Cool Road Tour 2020 I stop by Nichols Paint & Fab in Watseka Il and check out this very cool custom 1963 Buick Rivera...Most of the video was shot at the 2020 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville Ky...It was on display in the Builder Showcase portion of that event...This 1963 Buick Riviera is covered in a deep maroon paint...Trimmed with a titanium grey....It wears it well...The interior is all custom....It's done in a classic style with a touch of modern...It works well with the rest of the build...Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone...The custom wheels that Nichols Paint and Fab chose work for me...Under the hood there is a Stacked Injection LS3 with some very nice panel work and a clean install...Under this 1963 Buick Riviera it has a new chassis and all upgraded suspension so it will run and drive like a new car....I have always been a fan of these Buick Riviera...They were cool from the factory...This one hasn't lost any of that cool...It just had the Nichos Paint & Fab treatment..I thought it was cool..I'm sure You will to...Check it out!!

Nichols did a great job with the subtle rear end shortened and the chop and the smoothed curved top rear window. These RIVIERA's are so underrated. Trust me, i have one. Its classy and aggressive. Simply changing the wheels can alter its personality.

Rivs are cool no matter the year. Color was right on point. Where do you place the license plate? Wouldn't want to cover the pipes. They make the rear-end

Bought a used 63 Rivera in 1972, white exterior, brown leather interior, power everything including the wind wings. Belonged to a doctor who gave it to his son who sold it to me for $250 (remember this was 1972 dollars) I drove it for a year but it was a gas hog and ended up selling it for $250 and bought a new 1973 Chevy Luv. Fast forward to 2021, the Rivera is still running and the Chev Luv is long gone.
