Sorrowful day for me to hear it is the end of an era. The Trans Am has been my love since before I could drive. I was lucky enough to own a 79' TA in my mid twenties and always hoped I could re-capture that again someday. Now with this passing, I have come to realize that this will never come to fruition. A very sad day indeed for me, but I want to thank Trans Am Worldwide for all it did for the Trans Am brand.

This is where GM failed (again...) at seizing an opportunity for a special version of the Camaro. Why didn't they think of doing this? Make a Camaro, give it the Trans Am traits and make it the one to beat? Again, they let Mopar grab every occasion tey had to build new legends, as they will be remembered and collected down the road as the 60's and 70's classics are today. THAT's how you build an image that is burned into memories of all ages. Kudos To Trans-Am WW for going out and actually do it!
