Absolutely one of the best builds I have ever seen! The talent, skill, determination, engineering, etc are incredible. I don’t know if he builds cars for a living, but he’s thrown shade on a lot of professional shops with this!

I can imagine a second Gen Corvair with same treatment, elongated hood, etc., would look off the charts.
@christophermay49983 жыл бұрын
He did use two hood's..........but only one body..........anybody else that would've tried to build this would've used 2-3 car's to do it..........really shows his planning and building skills........nicely done........👍👍👊👊

I've seen 2 Corvairs that were put on G body M.C. frames. My last Corvair was a 66 Monza. Flat 6 with Powerglide. I stuck a set of 3rd gen IROC rims on it. Filled out the wheel wells nice.

A great build and totally 💯 unique while still retaining much of the original Monza look and body. Congrats from Canada 🇨🇦

Beautiful car, love the color combination and the engine choice. I’m surprised he didn’t go with TH400 transmission. Still super nice ride!
@Thomas63r23 жыл бұрын
One of the details not mentioned is the car's weight. Absolutely nothing wrong with a TH350 in a lighter drag car can easily be built to handle up to 800 horsepower. Besides being lighter in weight, the TH350 has less parasitic drag than a TH400 - which equals more power to the ground up to the horsepower limit of the transmission.

Perhaps 30 years ago someone built a front engine Corvair using a Jaguar engine. I think it had an experimental rear transmission from a Tempest.
