It shows the departure in the red and white VW Bullis from the company Southern Cross Safaris in Nairobi. First it goes to Namanga on the border between Kenya and Tanzania, which was then called Tanganyika or Tanganyika until 1964 and was under British rule.
A first meeting with giraffes is followed by a rest at the River Hotel. From Namanga the entourage sets out for Arusha in the northeast of Tanganyika, where the border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania was filmed. Street scenes, young people selling bananas, huts, a gas station, the market with a fruit stand, a tractor drives past - the motifs and colors are fascinating.
From the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge you can take wonderful pictures. The Ngorongoro is a collapse crater on the edge of the Serengeti. It was created when a volcanic mountain collapsed. The crater floor is at 1,700 m and the side walls are between 400 and 600 meters high, so that the crater edge is at 2,300 m. The diameter of the crater is between 17 and 21 kilometers. In total, the crater has an area of ​​26,400 hectares.
