+STATICS THE EASY WAY. should I place or put an arrow over the letter when i'm expressing a magnitude?
@1963rzr
@1963rzr 8 жыл бұрын
+Abo Raba I really don't care. however it is not correct. arrows are use for vectors unless you also use the two vertical lines before and after for magnitude. remember to like the videos. ..

Good day, sir. May I ask how did you solve the last equation in 1:05:01 where you multiply the top equation with 1.5? How did the 3/7 become 4.5? How did you get the forces?
@1963rzr
@1963rzr 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Good day to you too. Multiply the top by 1.5m and add the two equations. -3/7 becomes -4.5/7 and add -2/7 then you have 6.5/7AC=500 ; hence the AC=538.5 This is just solving systems of equations. Please review your math concepts. Good Luck, Stay Safe

Hello, for the problems of the springs in the time 50:26, I do not get how did you came up with 7/5AB if before you put 4/5AB. I did it different but got the same answer. I am just wondering how did you do it.

@1963rzr
@1963rzr 8 жыл бұрын
That is one of the reasons they are called unit vectors. The magnitud is always one...

26:41 How come DEy = DE = 392.4 N ... I though DE = (DEy^2 + DEx^2) ^1/2 and we actually didn't find DEx ? Thank you for your explanation if you get a chance to.
@1963rzr
@1963rzr 8 жыл бұрын
I never said "DEy = DE = 392.4 N" Sum of Forces in y must be zero per equilibrium.... If you check the FBD, the only forces acting in 'y' are DE sin 30 and the weight of the lamp (negative) so... DEsin 30 - 196.2=0 and solve for DEActually, DEy is DEsin 30. The X component of DE is explained and used in 27:08
