Were you a 12" JOE kid growing up? Who was your guy?

Absolutely. Sea Adventurer, because Ginger!

I was born in 1974, and grew up with the 1980’s Joe toys. But I was always fascinated by the original GI Joe 12” figures. I would see them at flea markets or the occasional yard sale, and as an adult collector, I have a quite large collection of them now.

I also grew up in the 70s and probably would have loved these. Thanks for watching.

I got my older brothers hand-me-down versions with little to no accessories but we had them around for a long time.

I had the original when I was a kid. I loved it. I'm sure the gear stretched my parents budget, but my bothers and friends and I had endless hours of fun.

This is so great. Love these old reels. We should be doing toy commercials like these today for modern toys.
@LeftCoastGraphics27 күн бұрын
I agree. ALL Toy Companies need to advertise more instead of relying on fans and collectors.

I wish there were dates for the commercials, great video. I still have my original Joe, Sea Adventure 1971 but the only navy uniform he ever had was the one he came in, the rest was Army.

I will see what I can do ;) Thanks for watching.

I like how you can tell the era of comercials by the way they anounce Hasbro at the end of the commercial. 💪🤓

Ya that part is cool. I am trying to figure out chapters on KZbin to break down each commercial.

Things were different back then, I was a kid in the 1970s, no computers or video games, Kids had to use the imaginations to play. Sometimes I miss those days

I went through several Joes but never had more than two or three at a time. Friends had a few more. I really loved the astronaut outfit and the Mercury capsule. I added a radio backpack covered with white paper as the environmental backpack for Apollo moon missions. The best fun was when my dad dug trenches in our backyard for a sprinkler system. Joes everywhere and gear all over! My dad kindly paused the sprinkler project for a couple of weeks so that I got the most enjoyment.

Thats awesome! I grew up with the 3.75 O-Ring Joes. I might have to add a couple 12" Joes to the collection. Thanks for watching.
