Got love the Stovebolt 6. My father in law’s 1956 Chevy Apache 1300 (Canadian truck) has a stovebolt 6. It sat 27 years in the bush here in Saskatchewan and we got it run. It went through a full restoration and now belongs to my brother in after my father in law passed.

obviously you like the old fords , little tip from my experience , when you are trying to revive one , vintage fords with conventional ignitions had a bad issue witht the breaker plates on the points , bushings would wear CONSISTENTLY throwing off the Dwell and Timing ...just an FYI let me know if you get this ... LOVE the channel

My dad sold me his6 64 Impala when I was in the service. I like the Biscayne and would be interested in buy it. I love the old chevys. I have owned lots of cars over the years, to many to count. I live in Ohio though so It would be something to drive it home.

I was raised on the Chevy 250 and 292 straight six engines. That one barrel Rochester was the easiest to overhaul carb I ever worked on. If you get spark and fuel she’ll run.

Love your channel im bless with alot of old rigs ive bought just because i like them and tractors .im going to make maybe a kids wagon and a dolly with a can of gas electric fuel pump on it .Ill have the battery to take to the rig put it in hook up battery run my fuel line to the rig .The last ill have a starting button allagator clips to battery also alligator clip for the electric fuel pump with hot wire kit optional lol im also going to have a protable airtank to air up my tires .Im going to do this to keep my rigs running at least every 2 months. ITS really hard on a rig to let them sit and die
