Sad to see what appeared to be an original car used for this build but the workmanship seems top, top. Helpful and giving me ideas.

I came to Your site again to look at the red and white 55 Chev. again, but stumbled across this 64 Corvette build. Amazing what You Guys are doing. What You Guy's are doing is everybody's dream, well at least Mine. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all the pictures and Your website.

Wow, for around the price of a new corvette, you can get these guys to build you this: infinitely better!

I highly doubt that the welder that made the chassis will see this comment but I will post it with the hope anyhow. After two years of welding school (stick, MIG, & TIG) all I wanted to do was become a TIG welder. Did not like stick at all. Unfortunately, no one would hire a 70 year old apprentice. I even offered to work for minimum wage or free! For the welder at MetalWorks that was the TIG welder, hope you see this. I wish I could become as good as you are!

Beautiful work inside and out. I was a bit surprised the rear exhaust holes weren't replaced by a full blank panel.

Very impressive. What is a ball park figure for completed project?
@adamackels733 жыл бұрын
If I was a guessing person, probably close to 6 figures. The engine alone, wasn't a salvage yard engine... So, there's close to $10k there alone. I have a 63 convertible Vette, and I'm looking to do something like this - a tribute to my late Mom....

I have a question. If the car was totaled can it be fixed ?
@rgh4704 жыл бұрын
Great work, BUT, I’d rather have seen the original restored, and the resto-mod done on a trashy junkyard find!

I can't beleive the AM frame is 30,000$ and they don't even powder coat it.

Cutting up a nice original working running car is not something I would do. Why didn’t you start with a pice of shit crappy parts car?
@metalworksclassicautoresto95832 жыл бұрын
Gene, because this was a body swap, not a restoration...the body/paint of the Vette was not touched...so if you started with a crappy parts car, it would still look like a crappy parts car.
