​@@mikevanriel7573 Hi Mike, and Happy New Year! I read your comment, and with all due respect, I felt the need to correct you. You said that other than the stripes, the Cowboy's blue uniform from 1964 is the same as today. That is incorrect. The Cowboys new blue uniform that began in '64 was changed to start the 1982 season to a darker shade of blue, which is what they still wear today. Also in '82, the Cowboys changed the color of the pants to a much lighter shade. Myself, l definitely prefer the Cowboys blue uniform from 1964 through 1981.

The Cowboys went 7-7 in 1965 and tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with the New York Giants. Lost to the Baltimore Colts 35-3 in the playoff bowl in Miami. By 1966 they won their first Eastern Conference title.
