I can still remember the day my folks came home with a brand new 64 Bonneville. They bought it from McNamara Pontiac in Wheaton, Il. Prior to that we had a 60 Bonneville station wagon, and after that we had a 68 Bonneville Brougham. Great cars!

My 68 Bonny had power windows, seats, steering, brakes, top, and antenna, also air conditioning, remote trunk release, tilt steering wheel, and eight track! 1968 you know! Same red, red interior and white top. I loved that car!

My father Mr Leroy Stover had a 1964 Bonneville hardtop they used to call him in Paterson New Jersey the big ship rest in peace pop

I wanted one of these when I was 18 but my dad said no convertibles! I knew a guy in our town that had one that was like this but was a dark blue with white top and a stick shift 4 speed on the floor! This was a big muscle car back in the day, but being a convertible made it pretty heavy ! Beautiful car! Love It!

Gotta remember these cars came standard with a 389 4bbl V8, 3 speed manuel transmission manuel steering and brakes. They did come with full wheel covers and a clock. They were not in the same price class as a Chrysler New Yorker, Olds 98 or Buick Electra. The Buick Wildcat and the Mercury Park lane were similarly priced competition.

+Rod Sapyta Don't know how much, but the standard motor was a 389CID V8 rated at 325HP, used to have one of these beauties.
