@@owenkelsey6279 Indeed! With the first car crushed (the Catalina) those doors still looked good. They could have easily removed those for another Catalina that year, which while still structurally good may have needed new doors. A missed chance.

@@owenkelsey6279 Some junk yards today will put these classics online for either parts cars of to restore. Sad they just crush them. I seen cars in this shape sell for big money on marketplace.

Looked like a 1970-73 example. Fenders still looked OK. Should have removed those before crushing it.

Pretty sure that was a Satellite. Had an 8 1/4” rear which Road Runners of that year never had.

Good to see you again; I was starting to wonder. The period from (roughly) 1964-1978 saw the manufacture of some of the longest American cars of all time, and maybe it was the camera angle, but that Catalina and the Newport looked like they barely fit in there.

@@brentboswell1294 I have owned a lot of the longest, but most of them were junkyard cars I bought for demo derby. But one that I did drive for a couple years was a '76 Buick Electra - 3rd-longest American car - and a '72 Sedan DeVille. That was back when a poor man could still afford gasoline, though.

The 67 Pontiac Catalina was nice went it was new the 65 chrysler new port was nice too sad it got crushed even it have rust hate to see it crushed take lot money's to restore it ill would do it like old cars better then new cars

Can’t believe I’m the only one to notice so far that the Satellite crushed was not a Road Runner. You can see the 8 1/4” rear. I hate that it got wasted all the same, though.

I thought the same thing. That glass is nearly impossible to get. These were all pretty far gone, it looks like there were a lot of parts that could've been sold to keep others on the road. Besides, there's no recycling value in shattered glass.

I don't recall seeing a flap on the trunk lid of any 1967 Pontiac, ever...could someone have cut out the arrowhead on the trunk lid? And the nameplates on the Pontiac and the Chrysler are missing, too--is someone collecting old car nameplates? (Looks like the rust coyote caught up with that Road Runner...) Worth the wait for this one
