What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL automobile. My best friend of 45 years and I used to swipe her Mom and Dad's '65 Riviera (back in the 70's and it was white) and cruise the streets of our hometown of Savannah, GA. Their Riv had 2 4bl carburetors and it was a frippin' rocket!!!! We were just in heaven in that car. *whistful sigh* Good times, great memories.

I owned the same car . Green. But the 425 with dual four barrels. I paid 2000 dollars for the car. Two years later I sold it for 7000 dollars. I had no idea what this car was worth in the future. I kick my ass today.

I am a hugh Chev fan but Buick oldsmobile and Pontiac had some of the best cars ever built the riv is just my favorite the 62-66 they also a 425 dual carb and a 430

Original compression should be 180 psi per the service manual on a 1964 Wildcat 445 (401).

The owner was pretty adamant about keeping it when he decided to take it off the market. It would likely take $32,000 to sway him to change his mind.

Unfortunately, the day of the shoot the camera I use for interior videos corrupted the SD so all I had was the exterior video. We’ve improved quite a bit since we did that video nearly four years ago.

Why do people feel the need to describe a 1963 and up as a Sport Coupe? Do they think there were Riviera sedans or Riviera wagons or any other body configuration. Perhaps they think they will be paid by the amount of letters used in the title.

Brad, for many years, Buick called all of their two-door hardtop models Sport Coupes. So, while it may seem redundant to call a Riviera a Sport Coupe, it's not incorrect to do so.
