Woke up from a dream and dreamed that I was the recent owner of some old car with the clamshell lights with a dying battery. I had to look it up and this is the one but mine was light brown. Then I realized I remember this from somewhere...and it's the movie Roadhouse. Cool to learn about another car and this has an interesting paint job but these look so good in shiny black.

Farther in law ordered a 65 in his specification in late 1964. Kept it till 76? And gave it to his brother.His brother didn’t really take care of it before he passed a way in late 90’s? His daughter no longer wanted it sold it to my wife and I . Now we own the Riviera which was originally owned by my father-in-law . It’s not as beautiful as yours but it’s still 65 and back n original family with it running and working !

'65 Riviera, is one of my Absolute Favorite 'Design-to-Product' cars! It's So crisp, as-is, stock! No funky, boat-tail, just a Sloop that scare away Mako sharks with it's Being There. This one is a Gem! And, btw, liking that Merc, too... But, for other design considerations..

_GOOOOORGEOUS_ car! I've always loved the '65 Riv 🥰🥰🥰 My only two comments would be, you either like de-badging and shaving the door handles, or you _don't_ ... I don't. I don't mind a lowered suspension, but this - to me at least - is a bit much. 🤷🤷

That car is absolutely stunning always was from the day it came out the only thing it does not deserve to be lowered like a lowrider the grill is exactly what I would want only horizontal lines and that the badging I think I would leave the Riviera trim other than that it's a beautiful piece of art
