1965 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod Stingray Coupe 350 V8 5-Speed Manual Video
Corvette Stingray Restomod coupe modified between 2012 and 2015 with 16K miles on the restore. Drive Line:
• Summit Racing 290 HP Long Block 350cid installed in 2014 described as a GMPP 350, part number NAL 12499529, 4 bolt main, aluminum pistons, mild hydraulic cam, equipped with an Edelbrock Performer 2101 intake and Holley 1761 carb, aluminum radiator
• Tremec TKO 5 speed transmission with Hurst shifter installed in 2018
• High flow aluminum radiator with puller fan
• Stock, Positrac rear end with full independent stock front and rear suspension, springs replaced in 2017
• The American Racing Torq Thrust 17″ wheels are mounted with 215/45 front and 225/55 rear Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires
• 4 wheel disc brakes
Body:
• The fiberglass body is refinished in Sunset Metallic Orange, and the emblems and front chrome bumpers were removed. A couple of small blemishes can be seen. 17000.00 body and paint work.
• Features include a stinger-style hood, steel rocker panels, 1966-style grille, tinted glass, fender vents, and dual side mirrors
• Electric flip-up headlights
• Windshield wipers do not work, but all mechanics are there including washer lines
• Windshield has a small chip
• Does not have a spare
• There is undercarriage rust as well as undercoating
Interior:
• Custom interior includes high back bucket seats sourced from a ZR1 Corvette with coordinating Lloyd floor mats, carpet and door trim
• Custom wood grain trimmed dash, center console and steering wheel
• Dakota Digital instrumentation consists of a 160-speedometer, tach, and auxiliary gauges
• Vintage A/C is cold
• 5 speed Hurst shifter and carbon fiber knob
• Kenwood amplifier, and Kicker audio with Bluetooth connectivity and sub woofer
• Original AM/FM stereo does not work
• Custom magnets were installed on the sides of the seats to secure the ends of the seatbelts when not in use.
