No one mentions about cracked solder connections especially on the filament wire bus. I rebuilt my 67' Super Reverb which was all original and found seven such problems by using good lighting and an eye loop magnifier. You cannot see it without. Very important.

Nice job cleaning up that beautiful amp! My Deluxe Reverb was built in October 1965 (date code OJ) so it was the same era. The original speaker in my amp is an Oxford 12K5-6 and looks identical to the one you showed.

Super good video! I just bought a 1965 deluxe reverb. Waiting for it to show up here at my home Monday. It has a Jensen speaker in it. Looks like a gold color. The codes in on a vintage amp determination thing and it says the speaker was made between 1946 and 1956. I guess it was the EIA code. It says the were used in a lot of the 60 cabs.
