1965 Harley Sportster Winter Cruise | Vintage Engine Noises Only!

I still maintain that the 900 Ironheads are the best sounding Harleys, if you ignore that the valvetrain sounds like a bag of wrenches falling down the stairs.
This is pretty different than my other videos. No chatter, just a short ride. Put it on in the background while you're working or something and let me know what you think about it down below!
It's snowing today, but it was warm enough to ride yesterday, if you consider the upper thirties riding weather. If you were curious what my 1965 Harley Davidson XLCH Sportster sounded like in action, you've come to the right place. It's noisy, and I'm not just talking about the exhaust. The intake wheezes, the valves clack and something (I haven't figured out what) is always rattling around. That's kinda just life with these old things.
This is a pretty short cruise around the neighborhood, but I'll take a more exciting route once it's above 40 degrees again... and the salt has washed off the roads!
Also, woah, two videos in a week? Must be all that vitamin D from this unseasonable sunlight affecting my mood.
ps if someone could help me figure out why gopro audio is so inconsistent from clip to clip i'd be very grateful indeed.

Old Harleys dont need speedometers. Just clutch brake and 1 mirror on the left. Yeah they all make funny noises, scary at first till you notice what is normal. The rattling is probably the primary, a lot of noise comes from primary chain especially if you have the tin cover with a Non- compensating crank sprocket. Nice bike Ironheads Forever!
