1965 Delta 88 was my first car, My grandmothers had one, rarely drove it so kept it in her garage most of the time. I got it when she passed in 1981. I did all my own work on the car, know the engine well - this one is not factory original under the hood, but looks to be a nice car otherwise. Great memories.

I have the factory spec's for all '65 Olds models if anyone is interested. $20 including postage. the car pictured here, if a 425, is the low compression motor or rebuilt. The original high compression motors were an orangy/red color. This motor looks to have aftermarket valve covers, intake, air cleaner, possibly carb, and exhaust. It looks, runs & sounds nice, but not original. Still a nice car.

Looks nice in a video. But cars like this are either truly restored (rare and expensive) or slapped together with bondo, bugger welds and hidden structural rust but with all attention paid to making things shiny. Flippers are also expensive, but you aren't getting what you paid for. The only way to know is a THOROUGH in-person inspection by someone who is skilled and trustworthy.

We encourage potential buyers to inspect anything they are interested in purchasing from us. Additionally, we have lifts available at every showroom so they can see under the vehicle.
