Күн бұрын

Hello and welcome to my channel! I want to introduce my 1965 Pontiac GTO. I discovered this car in Salt Lake City where it was destined for the scrap heap. It will require extensive restoration work and I will do my best to document the process in what will be a long series of videos. My goal is to transform this car into a 10 second street car in the next 12 months!
In this episode I fabricate some patches for the firewall and install the full floor pan. If this is your first time, just know that this is a big job! But by taking your time and working slowly, you can do this job with ease. Overall the car is in amazing shape for being close to 60 years old!
Follow me on Instagram for more pictures of the build. @Rust_Bucket_Restos

tech tip of the day boys and girls when you grind any metal like you did with the rocker panels PLEASE GRIND THE OUTER EDGE OF THE METAL when you grind that metal like that its like sharpening a knife, ive seen people get as much as 5 or 6 stitches the metal was so sharp love your work keep it up

Both are available aftermarket. You should be able to use the 66-67 lower a pillar sections. The only difference is the angle of the windshield channel. Firewalls are available through summit racing.
