Watching all of this brought back many great memories of the day... watching the sleds of today with the new fearless riders does make all of this seem a little lame, but this is where it all started.

We bought our 1968 Olimpic from our friends. They got a new motoski Spirit, and a Skidoo Citation. Another friend had a cheeze-wiz. ( Damn that thing was hard to start. ) Even the Enticer in the video was owned by another buddy. We were in our teens and had a blast every day on those sleds. Thats what we had in the 80's. They were all good machines, I now own a 1981 Enticer 340, my brother and uncle own Citation 4500's and my other brother a 1986 Enticer. We dont new sleds to have fun. This video is exactly what its all about. Good one!

Brings back Memories to me watching this I grew up in the 1980's and could not afford a new machine so I was content riding a 1969 12/3 skidoo it was a great little sled and I towed many newer sleds home when they broke down , and it would defenatly go places a newer sled would even think of

I sure could use a day like that, it would do a lot more good than all the prozac in Canada.

It is a Hus-Ski made by Bolens. It is a mid sixties machine. It belongs to a local member of our club.

Love the Massey-Ferguson! 2 head lights are better than 1.

+Quentin Raffensperger And they higher the engine revved, the brighter they got! (unless they had electric start). I remember those old Massey (Ski-wizz) machines were very robust well built and durable - you know, like a tractor! They were however on the heaver side.

Hardly anyone had an everyday -production sled with a Decently lugged and or studded track in those days .... You had to Know what you were doing ... then ... And be a much better judge of snow conditions as per the terrain you were in , in that moment ... Now , you Could outfit them better if you bought after-market accessories but , I didn't know Too many who did , at that time ... We were young then and Any surface with snow on it was fair game ...ha ha ... I'd gotten myself out of so many scrapes in my child and teen years , when I left home later to join the army , I swore that if I Ever Owned a sled of my own .... a 50ft. length of rope .. , a come-along ,and a set of bear-paw snowshoes was going to be part of my standard traveling kit .. in addition to a small tool -kit & plugs ........
