1966 Chevy Chevelle | West Coast Customs

We take this episode to the old school, 1966 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Chevelle with a brand new LS3 motor. Our client had been dreaming about this car for a while. He knew exactly what he wanted and put us to work. Custom paint and interior combine with the performance any muscle car lover would enjoy sitting on air ride. Looks great! As a constructive comment I would point out that the doors seems a bit crooked and door handles in back were better in my opinion. Also the 1U radio seems to be from 1998, I wonder why there is not a 7 or 9inch radio touch screen with wireless android auto/carplay to be modern and useful. I guess it the sponsor BOSS audio for the old radio look, but even BOSS has thoses touchscreens radio. But otherwise Im a fan of the black instead of chrome and the white looks amazing.

Beautiful car, white is so hard with body panels. Your gaps need to be spot on or they will definitely show. I think it would look better if it had the top hidden more when it is open. I like that clean top open look.

This Chevelle looks and sounds out of this world. Just one single issue: The big chromed tank for the Air Ride, are there options to make that smaller, maybe by having it take longer to re-build pressure? I am not that tech-savvy, so excuse me for having to ask. I would LOVE this car, too, just have a bit more space in the boot

smaller tank would work great, just wouldn’t hold as much air. you wouldn’t be able to go up and down repeatedly without the tank kicking on but that’s the only downside. the lines that are connected to the bags dictate how quickly the car will drop and raise. compressor noise on bagged cars is pretty annoying no matter how much sound deadening you put on them. you’d hear the compressor kick on every time you raise the car regardless, they are automatically set to fill up as soon as it drops below a certain psi

@@6996brandyl convertible roof, complete brake setup, rims n tires, air suspension, fuel system, ignition setup, rear end, drive shaft, exhaust system, etc etc. The list goes on n on. Trust me! Think ur estimates are low as well..plus LABOR COST.. OMG .cant even imagine ! 1 of my projects i been workin on over 10yrs , over 50k into it n nowhere near complete! Takes ALOT to build a car ! WISH i could have 1 done for 50k... 😃

Ryan I've always dreamed of one day having the money to get west coast customers to build me a restomod car but after watching this episode and the lack of quality workmanship that west coast used to be known for sorry that dream is no longer. I've always loved and watched WCC from way back in the days when the other WCC was around some say the bigger you get some things slip mmmmm that looks like it to me watching sorry Ryan it's just what I see as a car lover for a very very long time it's very disappointing to me because as I said earlier, I loved WCC for a long time from Brisbane Australia
