Packers were roving beasts on defense and the whole squad was playing some heads-up ball. Bears were plenty tough back then but suffered through a horrible season, after the promising 9-5 season of 1965.

Bukich was one month older than Wade, both born in 1930. They were definitely past their prime in 1966, and the interceptions thrown sort of show that. One wonders how Halas didn't draft a QB at that time who could replace either.
