1967-10-17 Red Skelton Show. GS: Terry-Thomas, Nancy Wilson

Clothes Make The Bum - Freddie the Freeloader sneaks into a department store to get some sleep in one of their beds. A mannequin is put to bed with him while he is asleep. Fussbudget is the floor walker and he is demoted to ladies underwear. Freddie promises to show him how to survive. There is a big sale and the department is stripped of everything including Fussbudget's pants. He is demoted again to announcing a fashion show. Freddie is trying to escape from the store and accidentally gets on the runway with the models. He invites Fussbudget to join him in bumming. 1: Monologue, jokes about Twiggy and fashions. 2: Blackouts, Brother-sister riddle. Political candidate. Firing squad. The air conditioner. The psychiatrist. The argument. 3: Silent Spot, Pop's Grocery. Red, as the old man, has a grocery. He is unhappy with a "squeeze the tomatoes" type of customer and ornery with everybody. A new building going up next door causes all his cans to fall off the shelves.
