Very nice! My 67 300 is a white convertible that my grandparents bought new. Used to live in Arizona; surprised we never encountered each other.

What a beauty! My family had a 1968 Chrysler Town&Country Beach Wagon my wonderful dad ordered new! That was based in a New Yorker. It had three rows of seats power everything plus the 440 TNT with factory tow package that came with 3:55 Limited slip! That car was so fast and the first car I drove licensed! One night I had it going so fast the speedometer needle went past 120 all the way into the clock! To 3 o’ clock!

To my understanding, which comes from owning an original 4-speed Fury for almost 25 years and researching them heavily (and researching them before the internet, too): Plymouth and Dodge C-body had a 4-speed available from 65-68, but there were no Chrysler 4-speed cars after 65. 66-68 would also use an Inland shifter, however not uncommon for someone to swap to a Hurst (like this car has). Also, the TNT engines typically came with Carter carbs, Holley was used on the 350hp version (and was not a double pumper). TNTs came with upswept exh manifolds, this car has the straight log manifolds of the 350hp version. The aircleaner also has the smaller dimple around the wingnut and oval snorkels, which suggests it is from a 68 383 4-barrel engine. If this is an original TNT car the 5th digit would be L. Regardless of that, it is still a fabulous car that anyone should be tickled to own!

Chrysler DID offer a 4 speed option on the 300 series in 1968. (I have the original brochures that show it installed). BUT factory A/C in a big block 4 speed car was NOT available (as people had a tendency to over rev and grenade the A/C compressors). I would LOVE to see the build sheet or fender tag to verify the originality. But still a nice car even if it is not original.

Need to update what I said previously. Based on discussion on Cbodydrydock.com, there were a few 4-speed 300s built after 65, but the info from a few people that seemed knowledgable was that it was 67 only. IIRC we discussed 2 cars, both were pale yellow. I had saved the CL ad of a pale yellow one from Seekonk, MA, back in 2013. The info in the ad was very basic and only 2 exterior photos of the car, and no way to verify its legitimacy. Could this be the same car? Who knows? As for the dealer brochure of 68 - I wouldn't hold a brochure as gospel on legitimizing a 4-speed in a C-body.Also - I know AC + 4-speed is generally considered not available, but I've got photos of 2 65 300s, 4spd with AC. 1 of them seems a non-tampered car but no picture of the fendertag to authenticate. The other car is slightly modified with dual-quads, the AC is original but unsure of the 4-speed. Not trying to be argumentative, only to say that in the last 25+ years of owning almost nothing but C-bodies, and watching 4-speed versions closely, I've learned the typical Mopar rules weren't always followed.

TWO FRIENDS, who hadn't seen each other in years, meet up at bar in the rougher side of town. One of them walks over to the other one's car and noted that they in were in a bad area. "Dude, you're not going to close the windows and lock it up ? " To which the friend replies... " Don't need to worry, it's a stick"

I recall sitting in a mid 60s Chrysler on a car lot in 1970 or 1971. It was a Newport with a floor shifter, could have been either a three or four speed. At the time I thought it was strange for a full size Chrysler, but there it was nevertheless. It was no 300, or defiantly not a new yorker.

That is not a TNT Engine. It would have HP magnum style exhaust manifolds, the valve covers are incorrect, Engine color would have been tuquoise in 1967.

interesting replies the TNT of that time was a Solid lifters and made an interesting Sound the Magnum motors were later i think some time in the 90s the 300 was not common but was available ( and really not easy to drive ( my thoughts ))

I really doubt this car is legit. It does not have the TNT Engine. The engine appears to be a later model 440 or 400 judging from the style of valve cover. I would have to see a build sheet to believe it was a factory 4 speed car. If it ever had the TNT engine it is not in it now. Can't believe whoever took the motor left the 4 speed.
