Do a video on 2 to 3 wire mains cable conversions because some conversions are'nt as straightforward especially on amps that used a dual on/off Power potentiometer and Volume in 1( like old 50s amps and radios) , thanks.

Yes! Thank you for sticking by my side making these videos! I was laid off last summer by Disney and it's been quite a year rebuilding myself with a new career and life in general. This upload reminds me of how much fun it is to share ⚡. Lyle is awesome! He doesn't hold back! I'd be so scared for him to take a look at some of my work. Haha . More to come on this amp since I'm discovering how odd it is

@@TheToneGeek so sorry to hear you got laid off, Ryan. Hope you and your family are doing OK now. Feel no presure on making videos though! Only if you have the time and enjoy doing it. I think your lead dress, solder joints and wires are looking neat and clean. You're great at details when building amps. But I can relate to being scared of Lyle, if he ever saw my work on vintage Silverplate amps, solid state amps, etc he'd be disappointed 😂 not that I'm terrible but I don't clean up more than I have to, just bare minimum. Much due to time and workspace.

So much to learn anytime we see another technician's work, right? I'm sure your amps are great as well! Huh, so I have this exact same amp.... well all of the components are dated to 1966, but the chassis serial number is very early 1967. Anyway my amp is stock, with only the bypass caps, bias caps replaced, and last year I replaced the filter caps. Looks like this amp has a LOT of mods done do it. I'm not sure what is going on there in the area around the phase inverter... looks like the tremolo is heavily modded with the roach being out of position...and those two gray wires might be how reverb and trem are on the normal channel. You might want to check Rob Robinette's page to see if that is whats going on there. He's got some pages on mods to this amp, including two ways to get effects on the normal channel. It looks like this might be the old Fender mod.
