The coolest TV ads Ford ran in '67 were actually for its full-sized cars. Does anyone remember that big '67 Ford being driven off a ski jump to show how tough it was?

I was driving down a street in Pomona, Ca. in 1984 and i see a 68 GT fastback sitting on blocks and i ask the owner about it and he says to me, "if you can get it running, you can have it for 200 bucks" Well i bolted the C-6 back on and put in a new Batt. And the 390 fired right up! Yes i said 390. I borrowed the money from my dad and drove the car home. I still have it and its worth more than 200. It was originally sold to romy hammes in indiana. Luck of the irish.

That's my baby 1967 Coupe Forrest Green, factory bench seat, air conditioning, etc. Most Important: Original Purchased on my birthday in 1967. He's my time machine named Rudy after the Specials and Notre Dame's underdog. Only two people will ever work on this car: my brother, Tony, and I.

That swing-away column is cool. That would come in handy in today's small cars. Why didn't Ford continue that option?

for a good restoration made by a PROFFESIONAL TEAM OF BUILDERS. that know what they are doing you are looking to spend a minimun of 20k at least ,the restoration on my 65 gt cost me 40k already and is about 98% complete,but again I want it to look like it came out of the assembly line,but if you want a daily driver you are looking to spend 10k to 15k for a good restoration
@RongFlight15 жыл бұрын
depends on wat it looks like if its restored good then yes grab those keys cuz u wont get another chance but if it needs a good resto then turn and run the other way unless money is burnin a hole in ur pocket lol

@machone7I14 жыл бұрын
@Rob42o Well, like you said, your cars are not original. a mustang could perfectly compete with a stock viper or subaru. In modified cars, its not the type of car or where it comes from, its how big the engine turbo and supercharger is.
