I bleed the air the same way. Works slick! I like that core plug tool... home made unit? Nicely done. Always something more to do on this old stuff.

No, its a specific tool made to get to core plugs in tough area’s…. Check out this page from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com/parts/oes-27208?rrec=true
