I have fond memories of the 67 bird. I was 13 when my brother bought his. 400 with a 1150 dual line holly. A 4 speed that would give you whiplash. Our neighbor got a comaro same time with a weak azz 307 auto.lol. tach on da hood and a big shinnt chrome nose. Man so cool

@Burns me up. I'm not a big fan of the hideaway lights. They're alright, but I think I like these more because I've only seen 2 of them in my area ever. I've seen quite a few 67-69 Camaros, but the old Firebirds are hard to find out by Chicago.

This is my go to video in the off season!! Coolest & badass'd production car ever!! Ya it's an opinion thing. I've got one much the same as in this video. I didn't like the 400 hood design with the dash tach tho. I swapped in a 350 hood, put a '67 Camaro RPM gauge in the dash where the gas gauge was and put a '67 Camaro 5 gauge pod on the console. A '72 Challenger #2,

Bought one in 1976 for $600.. a used car but not very old black with black interior but no 326 or 400 a 327 chevy under the hood.. Some con artist in the neighborhood disconnected the alternator when my back was turned.. then reconnected it when the battery died .... Thought it was a lost cause sold for $250 ....

I know this is 3 years too late but, I will answer you anyways. This car has an automatic transmission with a shift kit in it. Unlike the typical auto it will stay in whatever gear you put it in. If you put a normal automatic transmission in 2nd gear it will start in 2nd gear then shift to third and so on, like normal. With a shift kit in it, it will stay in 2nd no matter what rpm you're doing. He has it in "D" drive to start his drive. He later shifts it manually to demonstrate the shift kit capabilities. It's the best way to go with an automatic with power but can be very unforgiving should you shift to 1st gear doing 80mph. haha
