A brief look at some vintage dealer brochures of the 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Cars lineup. We take a look at the different trim levels and discuss the pricing of the various models and compare them to what the "Todays" pricing would be.
Kick back and enjoy a walk down memory lane with us. If you were lucky enough to visit a dealership, you may remember the brochures you could flip through of the models available for that particular year. Today, we're bringing the brochure to you.
We hope you enjoy this video, we have fun producing them for you. We will continue to make more content of some of the greatest American cars and trucks ever produced, so check back frequently to see more.

Hi Char, nice video, nice car. The 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix was the first and only year for the Grand Prix convertible. Take a close look, and you will see that the front vent windows are present on the convertible, but not on the hard top. That was to add stiffness to the windshield posts when the car was moving. The 1967 Grand Prix (hard top) was the first year that no Grand Prix (after 1967) had front vent windows. 1968 was the last year for the GM full-size "B Body" platform Grand Prix, after that (1969 and up) the Grand Prix was produced on the GM mid-size "G Body" platform, as was the 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The front disc brakes that you mentioned on the 1967 Grand Prix are Delco Moraine disc brakes (a division of General Motors) derived from the 1965-1982 Chevrolet Corvette. Please reply. Dave...

How about the 4 speed option... I couldn't confirm, so I didn't talk about them, I saw numbers like only 200 or so with 4spd...Thanks for your comment.

My dad and I went tire kicking one rainy night in 1968 and, much to my shocked delight, ditched our station wagon and came home with a gold '67 GP. Black buckets and a console-mounted shifter, 400-4BBL. VERY fast, elegant, and beloved by the whole family. Except my mother, who hated bucket seats with a flaming purple passion. I miss that car (and my wonderful parents) to this very day. Thanks for this great trip down memory lane!

I always loved the 67 Pontiac fullsize station wagons in particular the woody Executives models.

Very interesting video, much enjoyed. I do have to point out the first car pictured (starting around 0:38) is actually a Canadian model Grande Parisienne. You can somewhat notice the name on the rear quarter and that it doesn't feature the hidden windshield wipers like the Grand Prix. We had some cool Chevy based Pontiacs up here in those days. :)

😁 Yes, I knew it was... Finding the images for videos can be a challenge, I knew only the most knowledgeable would notice this. Thanks very much for your comment 👍

I liked all the 67 Pontiacs, but the 67 Grand Prix was a real standout.

that first car is a GRAND PARISIENNE not a GRAND PRIX.

The 67 convertible model was really very nice and luxury sport looking. To me, it would've competed very well against the Ford Thunderbird ragtop.
