WOW! What treat. Being a life-long VW Beetle fan, I have to say that THIS is the BEST 'Walk-Around,' 'Inside Out' video about a Beetle that I have ever seen! It does make me a little sad though... because A. This incredible VW is NOT mine and B. I had a '68 Beetle -- bought it new. I loved that car but not enough... when 2 years later, I thought I wanted something better. All these years later, I realize... there was NOTHING BETTER than Volkswagen Beetles... in their class and for what they are. They reign supreme. So... to all of you who are fortunate to have kept your Beetles or have found one that you cherish... hold onto it and NEVER let it go!

If only we could all go back and "not sell" some of the cars that we "let go" or "passed by" over the years - I will be forever kicking myself over some of the cars I let go, or didn't buy.

Charles.. Thank you. My job is simply honouring the car and allowing the car’s owner to share their passion for their car. As a car lover you would certainly understand that we treat our cars better than some of our relatives 😀😀😀. Thank you so much for watching my videos

As an former '67 owner (hardtop, steel sunroof, and pop-outs... for 37 years!) -- I LOVE IT !! My only "DISLIKE" are the painted (or white) fender beadings -- with all other metal-to-metal "buffers" being black, these stand out as being wrong or odd -- otherwise... nice, nice, VERY NICE!!

It is certainly a beautiful example of a classic car that everyone has a fond memory of. The thing I can’t get over is how clean it is.. even under the wheel arches and engine bay.. fantastic car. You are lucky to have one too!

Jmc8415, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. I would love to connect the two of you. If you could send me an email with your details that would be great. My email is: Kevin@ClassicCarChitChat.Com

I have one you might like, more stock than this one, tan top over beige, w/ Burgundy interior.

@@JMC8415 1966 is very much like the 67, only 6 volt and different rear suspension, but still has the glass headlight covers. Quite a nice car when restored. FYI: The 66 outside door handles are the same style as 67 but different interior mechanism, but both should be interchangeable if necessary. They are not chrome plated steel, but stainless steel and can be polished to a chrome-like finish using the right buffing compounds. Enjoy to journey, J

John, I believe that is the official name. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention when creating these videos is to showcase not only the beautiful car but give the owner an opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. Thanks again Kevin.

Quite the personalized Beetle. FYI: Lots of small errors regarding the 67 Vert. Not made in Wolfsburg but at the Karmann factory in , Osnabrück, Germany. After-market non-German front fenders (probably Mexican made) , incorrect front bumper and guards, incorrect rear bumper less tapered over-rider bars (towel bars). Deck lid stand-offs unnecessary. Incorrect front style seat covers, after-market hinged door grabs not original, missing Karmann logo passenger side badge, fog lamp not original or widely used, incorrect color fender beading, missing black hood spring covers, missing gas tank cover and side panels, incorrect 67 only dash knobs, incorrect gas pedal, sideways clutch pedal pad, missing 67 one-year-only retractable front belts, missing rear ashtray in right side panel, missing 12 Volt sticker in driver door jamb, incorrect 67 only door lock pull knobs, etc. Otherwise, pretty nice 67. one of only 7597 produced compared to 13,354 68s, 15,826 69s, 18,008 70s, 24,273 71s, so fairly rare with about 500 or so 67s extent.

@@ClassicCarChitChat Kevin, Please express to the 67 Beetle convertible owner that my comments are intended for his useful information rather than a criticism. It's a beautiful car and I realize owners indeed love to personalize their rides. And, tell him to Pa-leeze get those Hella reverse lights back on this 67 along with correct over-rider bars, signature 67 and both one-year-only and completely unique to the 1967 Beetle.

Sorry but it looks horrible with aftermarket wheels, fof lamp and modifications like engine cover, why not stock?

Carlos, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow ´ordinary people’ like you and I who love cars an opportunity to speak about their love of their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the ´caretakers’ of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). It really is up to the owner to modify as they see it. The car is stunning in every way.
