It was never "repainted orange", 10:27, but originally factory painted Poppy Red (a Convertible-only color option in '67) which was much brighter and 'orange-y' in appearance than the more common Ruby Red L-456.. She's crusty, but pretty much all there! 👍

Liked the burnt orange paint job they did on VW’s in the 60’s. It fades like red paint as well.

Well on the outside and through the camera it looked red to me too. I like the two tone rear lights, they just couldn't decide on the colour! :) Overall though it does look solid Jason.👍👍

Great year convertible. I think Karman made 7500 convertible 1967 bugs. So, compared to the sedans, they are rare.

11:39 aftermarket blue blinker relay. That car was running around not too long ago. I think they’ve only been making repops for 10? Years. Maybe I’m wrong. That “B”case is a dual relief 70’ 1600 cc. Rare. Look under it and see if it has bus bosses on the case for a mustache bar. I have 2 1970 cars and both, have B case bus engines. It was the best I could score. And try to keep up appearances. Not, bad….not bad, could be worse. Thank you for sharing.

67 is a great driver with the 12v and 1500...but the interior took a MAJOR dive for the 67 year. Exterior had a few unsightly changes in my opinion as well but my 1st car was a 67 so i have a soft spot for them. However , there are some cool one year only stuff as well

That's not orange, that's Poppy Red which was a convertible only colour. It is bright red with a orange tint to it.
