Great memories for sure! My first motorcycle that dad bought for me in 1969 for $110 as Wards was getting out of motorcycle business. My Mom was still able to order piston rings for it in 1976 from Wards and my brother sold it to his friend soon after that.

I lusted after one of those for 3 years. When I finally saved up enough to buy one, I think they were going for $239 at that time, they stopped selling them. My first instance of "snooze and lose".

I was just given a sightly rusty, dissembled but complete one and it is my next project. Nice work, enjoy!

Great work! I am beginning a resto of a 1966 Wards Riverside150 and I'd love to know where you had the seat recovered. Mine is trashed and the frame is rusty but, miraculously, the motor still runs good. Thanks

can you read the number on the flywheel to see if it is the same as a ASL205NS?
