1968 Bullitt Mustang

I just got mine today, it's really an impressive model, everything opens, the mesh grill, the necessary white knob on the stick shift, no Mustang or Ford logos at all, correct color wheels, license plate, blacked out tail light trim, it's all there. The paint looks really nice in person, very clean and the color is fine to me. The engine is especially impressive for the price point, much more detailed than I had expected. I got mine for $74 which seems fair if not a bargain. The box just says 1968 Mustang GT fastback in Highland Green. It's the same car, but there's no Bullitt or picture of Steve McQueen on the box and the price probably reflects that.

Steve McQueen sent a letter to the family that owned it after the movie trying to "get my car back" and they said, No. Smart decision, he wouldn't have paid 3.4 mil in the seventies like someone did in 2017.
