@Chevysrule454 How many are left? Part of the build plan on this car was to *not* do anything that could not be easily reversed. The only modifications to the body are the two upper arm mounts and the trunk floor notch, both of which can be returned to stock. We later added subframe connectors, which also can be reversed. The rear axle is all new, the original 12 bolt (long missing) was unaffected. At the end of the day, we build what the owner wants, and he digs it.

How many hours did it take to do the install? I am thinking of doing this as my 73 camaro is stripped down now.

@Exzorzsist Stefan, considering that all the cars are privately owned, we respect the customer's privacy and do not publicly discuss the build budgets. As you seem to understand, good quality parts, materials, and labor are not the cheapest items with which to build a car, but judging by recent muscle car auctions, the build is on par with what the cars at this level are fetching. Does that help?

Cut away!!!! You can always get a new body from Dynacorn, besides I hardly think anyone would be insane enough to cutup a matching numbers car. Updating these old gen 1's to handle and stop better than they ever did is probably the best thing to happen. Many of these cars didn't make it and were smashed due to poor handling. After driving one that has been updated you will definitely not want one in a "factory setup... V8TV keep up the great work!!

I love reserecting these 1st Gen Camaro's, but when the butchering starts ...Well !!!.I know how few of these there are left in this world, and now there's one less.Sooner or later they will be as sparce as the 57 Chevy Bellair, maybe then people will regret cuttin them up.Just sayin!!
