A very nice E Type! However, I hate to be a party-pooper in the sense that a '68 2+2 doesn't do anywhere near 150 mph. The Series 1 2+2 with the manual gearbox does 136. This Series "1.5" has uncovered headlamps, which will bring down the top speed by three mph. Then you have to factor in that the automatic box...so despite the triple carburetters it will barely do 130 mph on a good day...but still very enjoyable. I also like the after-market British Autowood centre dash panel!

Anyone taller than 6’1 has to drive the 2+2 - they wouldn’t fit in the series 1
