Out of all the cars I ever had I miss my 68' barracuda notchback 318 the most. Bright green with black accent stripes and black bucket vinyl. I bought it in 77' with 50k one owner miles for just $800 dollars and looked showroom new, automatic with power steering and front disc brakes and AM radio. Stock down to the wheel covers.

My 1st car at 16 was a 68 Notch Back 340 S. My current one (340) is in the paint shop, and is taking forever, so this past week I found a good deal and bought another 68 340 Notch Back. The numbers don't match, but still, it's a nice looking car..

Man after watchin' that, I want a brand new 1968 Barracuda 383 Formula S!

i love this barracuda, this is the first small muscle car, also this model because the rear glass was not so big as the valiant barracuda of the 65 but it has that fastback look unlike 70's hardtop models

A friend of my Dad's owned the local Chrysler dealership. He loaned a 340 Cuda to my Dad for a week, and I got to take it to the high school football game. I was quite popular that day, in a brand new compact muscle car. And that thing would MOVE, even with TorqueFlight.

I drove a 65 in highschool. 273 v8 as I recall. Rust bucket, though fun to drive. The rear glass used to cook the interior. Sold it for $150 in 77 to buy a 73 Monte with a 454!

Insane how humble dodge was, rating the 383 and only 300 hp.

Chrysler derated their engines because of the weight. The Formula S 345 actually dyno'd just over 350HP. Those engines had insane power.

The Cuda is the only car I've ever seen where I actually prefer the hardtop over the fastback.

My dad wasn’t a real Chrysler fan. But in ‘68, when this ‘Cuda was built, we looked at and bought the Pontiac LeMans. As I said, my dad was not a Chrysler fan.

Chrysler: Why didn't you guys build more 4 speed cars? Your TF wasn't nearly as fun.
