This 1968 Volkswagen Type 2 Double Cab Transporter underwent a refurbishment before being acquired by the selling dealer in January 2022 and is finished in red with white bumpers over a matching two-tone vinyl interior. Power comes from a 2,800cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and features include a bed with fold-down sides, dual side mirrors, a roof rack, and reupholstered front and rear bench seats with lap belts. This Double Cab Transporter is now offered with a clean Ohio title.

Im happy to own one 1968 Double cab myself, been sitting in the woods for over 40 years. Neptune Blue with dark blue interior.

Neat truck for a driver. There are a number of mismatched non-1968 parts on it. Neither of the front doors are 1968, which were one-year-only doors with pushbutton handles. The passenger side door is 1970 or later with the rectangular reflector. Original round side markers are missing. The speedometer and fuel gauge are 1973-74, so the odometer reading is irrelevant.

Why does that 68 have IRS axel in it, should be swing axel?
