In my youth far away from Derby, these games were occasional reports in newspapers, but mostly mere results in the results columns and tables. It's great to be able to view Derby's glory days now.

Yes and Roy McFarland wasn't too far behind. John McGovern, Alan Durban ,Alan Hinton and John O'Hare were the backbone of this great team .

I am sure that Pride Park will rock and roll next Saturday but the Baseball ground had a atmosphere when it Rocked ... great memories thank you, I wouldn't mind 5-0 this Saturday

Best compliment i can give Derby is what a grest side spurs had then. Was only about 7 yrs old and cant remember much about Dave Mckay but what a player even in his later yrs. M ot M. Read a few auto biographies and each one emphasized how great a player Mckay was. Now i know why. O'hare, Durban,Hinton what a forward line. Great times!!!!!
