I’m in Tasmania and I have one, exactly the same. Mine is as original as this one. Good to see it running well.

Beautiful. Saw my first one parked outside the Royal Enfield factory in Redditch a couple of weeks before it was launched.

That's lovely. Tip-top. Nice quiet motor with a thrumming exhaust note, and totally standard by the looks of things.

Gorgeous bike. I had a ‘66 Lightning. The starting drill was: 1) DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING! 2) Kick through twice 3) Full choke, turn key, tickle Amals, say a prayer, KICK! 😊

Wonderful engine, as were the early 4 speed Tridents. Both would top 125mph. My own T150V was gasping at 110, reportedly due to poor port finishing on the later bikes, mine being an I reg 1973, in the colour you showed in the video. I like the Rocket 3 but do prefer the mk2 style to the Ogle Design. Still, you can't look at the mantlepiece when poking the fire, as the old saying goes. This one sounds delightful.

Always thought in 69 that the rocket 3 was a better looking bike than the trident.

Fabulous bike - so much better than the Honda Four in so many ways . . . handling, finish and material quality, power characteristics, braking, rideability, looks and charisma . . .

Lovely triple and inspiring sound but £10k?

Nostalgia is always expensive. It’s the rose tinted glasses that does it. Look at the price of a BSA Bantam. I once bought one for £7. I rode it home and decided that it was only actually worth a fiver. I’d wouldn’t give anymore than £7 for one now, but that’s inflation eh? 😂

@@SteveInskip As they say, an object is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Good luck if Andy Tiernan's can achieve that price.

What's wrong with being a yank. U kids we're Brits. And we were Yanks. And. Apparently we liked wide handlebars. I. Know in the southeast back in the day triumph was the bike of choice. Followed by Norton's. Then BSA. US. Yanks. Loved those triumphs love the Jetson exhaust

@@redtobertshateshandlesyou do have a point! Triumph Trident was better looking IMO.
