I was 17 when my Crystal Blue 1969 Buick Electra 225 Custodies Sport Coupe came into my life. That was 43 years ago. I restored her in 2004. I wish you all the best in your efforts. The Deuce is among the best performing luxury cars of the period. Yours looks like the base model which is good because the weight is reduced. Figure out whether you want to go for performance, a custom look, or originality. Get work done by people who know Buicks.

Thanks! I believe it's a "limited" I will have to double check. I've seen plenty of other electra 225 on here and google and none of em really seem as elegant to me as this color combo. Very happy with my purchase. I plan on keeping everything oem besides maybe suspension. Even keeping the points ignition. I used to work for Buick but everything on this old school Buick is "new technology" to me.

Clean old Electra there...I had a 69 convertible and a 70 4 door 455 with stage 1 cam. Trust me, if you do not want to spend ALLOT of money, do not try to race that 430 boy....you will cook the crap out of rod bearings and you will be out 3 grand. Get her tuned up, oil, points, carb rebuild, hell i wouldn't bother pulling the radiator unless it is leaking. IF it starts and runs WITHOUT over - heating, count your LUCKY stars and BABY that engine...DONT rev the piss out of that motor, 430s had an oiling flow issue....there you are warned....GREAT CAR...baby it and it may last...

Beautiful car my dude. I would LS swap or BBC swap transmission swap. I have a 72 buick electra 2door HT with a 496stroker. My opinion, it's frustrating how hard it is to find proformance parts for my 455 rocket 🚀 and limitations in modifications. So I decided to motor swap. 455 to a 496stroker 400turbo to a 40L80. She sitting on forgiatos 6s. It's on my Facebook page and instagram.
