1969 Buick Skylark project episode #2. Will this junk move ??????

As you read in the title this episode will pick up where we left off last time. To refresh your memory some idiot, ME, forgot to buy some gas for the 'WILL IT RUN' video. After finally getting her to start she ran out of gas.
This time I have gas and I will see if it will move ???? stay tuned.

Wrenching on old junk is the best way to spend a Saturday. Love the Bedrock floor pan option. I give my car gas out of kindness mostly it runs hope and dreams.

Cool it wants to go back out and see the world again! Looks like it will take some work but man that would be a unique car to restore. Hopefully it didn’t get overheated too bad. Bet that water pump wasn’t moving any water. Did you run your own gas line last time?

I think the radiator is plugged, it’s probably got a corroded pump as well. It does move water tho. I need to drag it onto the lift and put a timing light on her. I know the timing is off. Its going to be a fun build. Ive got two driver quality 68 buicks that are the same body that i havent introduced on the channel yet. One i bought when i was 16 over 20 years ago.

I'm willing to purchase the side trim moldings if you are interested on getting rid of them a lot of people don't like them because they collect water

I paid 300 bucks but that was 18 years ago. You should expect to spend 1500-2500 today.

@@BrokenWrenches At least 7 or 8 K in Minneapolis too.Possibly more, it runs pretty good. Your could turn a nice profit leaving it stock and keep as original as possible is always the highest resale profit.

@@gt-37guy6 wow.!! Im about to start back on this one. Got it legal, insured and stuff. Found some good tires and ive bought some lifters/gaskets to fix the clatter. Its actually pretty peppy. Also bought a gasket kit for the trans. Next on the list will be floor pans, carpet, seat covers and then i will start fixing body rust, one section at a time. Want to keep it driveable most of the time. Thanks for watching.
