A great way to start a Monday, watching another episode of Nick's Garage. I have been remembering all my friends that served with me that didn't make it home, and I honor their memory this Memorial Day. Thank you for the update on the Charger, it is really coming along nicely, and so close to being painted. I love the comment, "just bang it out." That gave me a laugh when you said that to Roger, lol. I remember all the times I heard, "all you have to do is, and then a comment that usually involved many hours of work, and only took two seconds to say. Great video George, it seemed like I was at Roger's shop with you. I liked the camera view from Nick's hat, great idea.

@@moparedtn Good Morning Ed, I appreciate your kind words. I'm glad that you found out about Porterfield Brakes. Drum brakes have come along way since 1969, along with improved compounds. I want to keep my drum brakes up front if possible. I never had any trouble stopping the car before, and hope that the new brake shoes will be better than the old shoes. Hug your Mopar today. I hope that I get to meet sometime in the near future.

Another great episode! In view of the day, many thanks to folks like Eugene for their service! During the school year of 1969-70, one of the prior graduates from our high school showed up in town with a Super Bee the same color that your Charger 500 will be. It had a white Bumblebee band , black vinyl top, 383 - 4 speed. It was such a classy looking car! And the little brunette that had bought it was pretty nice to look at too! LOL I remember how that color just seemed to glow.

The seats in Nick's car look great. The attention to detail and getting all the stitching and lines perfect took real talent. Everything about his car is perfect, I even like the way he painted the underbody and not leaving it in a primer or some other undercoating. Some things in life make a man feel really great and one of those is having the car of your dreams made perfect, better than it came from the factory.

Good morning Nick and crew from mid Tn. Happy Memorial day to all my American viewers. Gotta love those cold running Mopars. Many, many years ago I built a street/strip small block Duster. Fully balanced and blueprinted, 11.2:1 compressionn, W2 heads, big cam, 5:13 gears and no choke. It was a pain until she warmed up and barely produced any vacuum so braking was fun. Never got around to installing a vacuum pump.

What a cool episode of Nick's Garage. A ride in the Kowaski is always a treat. Cold start was sounding stubborn at first, but the ride back sounded astounding.I couldn't resist to "crank it up". Hat-cam was cool to watch. I don't know what it took to get Nick to wear it, but well worth it. Do it again Nick. Show us the shoulder belt that clips into the lap belt. Great job yooz tooz. Love the weaving in and out of lanes to get different angles of the Kowaski. I can't understand how many Go-Pro's and Go-Pro brackets and suction cups it takes to make this happen. Richard C. Sarafian would have been proud.Hats off and thank you Eugene Castles for your service and duty to your country. Thank you for sharing your car story with us. It is an amazing work of art in the making. I have met the artists. There is no deadline. When it's done, it'll be done. On Nick's Garage we learn that there is a way to appreciate how the collector car enthusiasts make their cars more perfect than they came from the factory, without losing sight that winning competitions is not the only way these cars can be taken care of and loved so that they love us, our friends, our family, and a community back. And we even learn how we can pay tribute and respect and have fun with the collectors and their mechanics who achieve competition level perfection and who think that they are as old school as us.

I couldn't imagine driving vehicles only seasonally, in California I hop in any of my vehicles any time I want. My daily driver makes around 1400hp at the crank and I could not imagine not driving it any time I want.

I’m curious if the 500 was created after they realized people weren’t thrilled with the strange front and wing on the Daytona. I mean without the front and rear aero how important was the flush rear window? A very curious car.
